The theme preference never leaves your browser. It is not sent to us, not shared, and not used to identify you.
Analytics
We measure which pages are read, in aggregate, to decide what to write next. This does not identify individual readers and is not used for advertising.
Advertising
Where a page carries third-party advertising, the advertising provider may set its own cookies. This is disclosed on the page and is governed by that provider’s policy as well as our Advertising Disclosure.
Controlling cookies
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and clear local storage, usually under Settings → Privacy. Blocking everything from this site costs you nothing except that the site will forget your theme choice on each visit.
Browser-level “do not track” and global privacy control signals are respected where the browser sends them.
