Marcus has been building with Joomla since version 1.5. After a decade of running a Joomla-focused web agency, he founded JoomlaXTC to share the knowledge his team had accumulated across hundreds of client projects. He oversees all editorial content and sets the technical direction for the site.

Sarah brings 8 years of technical SEO experience to the team, with a focus on CMS-specific optimization. Our Editorial Standards
Trust is the foundation of everything we publish. Here is how we maintain it:
- Hands-on testing. We install, configure, and use every extension and template we review. Screenshots and observations come from our own test environments.
- No paid reviews. Companies cannot pay for a positive review on JoomlaXTC. Our editorial and advertising operations are completely separate.
- Regular updates. We revisit and update published articles when Joomla releases new versions, extensions change, or information becomes outdated.
- Transparent affiliate links. Some links on our site are affiliate links. We always disclose this, and it never influences our recommendations. We recommend the same tools whether or not an affiliate program exists.
- Community first. We prioritize content that helps the most people. If a free extension does the job, we say so — even when a paid alternative has an affiliate program.
