Description
The Lightbox module enhances your website to display important information to your users on their first visit on a Modal or Lightbox window centered on the screen. The information shown is the same as any Menu link on your system or on a custom URL. After the first display, the module can permanently show a clickable button to display the same content later on.
Parameters
The module accepts the following parameters:
| Menu Component | The menu option to use as output in the Lightbox window. Only the component contents will be shown (requires a compatible Joomla template). |
| Custom Link | If a valid URL is specified, the contents of the URL will be shown instead. |
| Button Image | Select a button image to show after the first pop-up event. |
| Lightbox Width | The width (in pixels) of the Lightbox window. |
| Lightbox Height | The height (in pixels) of the lightbox window. |
| Module Class Suffix | A CSS module class for the module area. |
Advanced parameters:
| Enable first-time event | Enables or disables the automatic Lightbox window when a user visits for the first time. |
| Timeout | If a visitor comes back after this many seconds, then he/she will be considered as first-time visitor and the Lightbox will be automatically shown again (if enabled). |
